+ How Inventory Forecast Works?

Forecasting feature of StockBot app uses your recent sales history to predict how much you should restock for products that will sell out soon.

How does it work?

• Choose the sales timeframe in the past you want the app to use for the prediction

• Tell the app how many days in the future you want to forecast

• The app will show you which products are about to go out of stock during that time and how much you should restock

+ Do you offer Free Trial?

Once you install the StockBot app, you will be on a 14 days free trial with full access to all the features so you can try before you buy.

You can choose any paid plan and also switch between plans during the 14 days.

You will be billed automatically by Shopify after 14 days. If you uninstall the app before 14 days you will not be billed.

+ WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STORE-WIDE AND INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT ALERTS?

If you set a store-wide alert threshold then every product variant in your store is checked against that alert level. You can also set alerts on only specific products or variants each with its own alert threshold Additionally you can set alert threshold on individual products and also enable store-wide threshold for the rest of the products in the store. Simple check the checkbox under store-wide alerts that says"Enable both store-wide AND single-product alerts with above number as base level"All this is available in the basic plan for $5/month

+ Is there a Demo video of features?

Using free plan, you can setup a ‘Store-Wide Alert’. Products having inventory less than this Alert level will be included in Low Stock emails and Web Reports. Here is a Demo video.

You can setup ‘Location Alerts’ and ‘Collection Alerts’ using pro plan. It also includes the features of basic plan, where you can setup Individual Product Alerts. Here is a Demo video of Pro Plan exclusive features.

+ App Leaves code when uninstalled?

Simply uninstall the app from your Installed Apps page and your subscription will be cancelled automatically and app will no longer have access to your store.

+ How to exclude products from Alert emails?

You want the app to ignore certain products from Alert emails and Web report? You can do that by adding those products to the app's Exclusion List under ‘Exclude Products/Variants’ tab.

+ Can we track re-ordered quantity in transit with supplier?

Reordered quantity is not counted by StockBot app. StockBot app checks only the product’s current inventory in Shopify online store.

Shopify has not given apps access to the Transfers feature. So we are unable to identify products that have an incoming transfer.

+ Can the app access historical orders older than a year?

No, App can retrieve historical orders only upto 1 year.

You will be able to use the sales data up to 365 days, before installation date.

+ CAN I SEND LOW STOCK EMAILS FOR DIFFERENT COLLECTIONS TO THE RELEVANT STAFF'S EMAIL OR TO THE VENDOR WHO SUPPLIES THAT COLLECTION?

Yes you can. Collection-level alerts that send low stock emails to separate email ids are available in the Pro plan for $25/month

+ WE HAVE DIFFERENT STAFF THAT HANDLES INVENTORY FOR DIFFERENT COLLECTIONS. CAN I SEND LOW STOCK EMAILS FOR DIFFERENT COLLECTIONS TO THE RELEVANT STAFF'S EMAIL?

Yes you can. Collection-level alerts that send low stock emails to separate email ids are available in the Pro plan for $25/month

+ WHAT TIME OF THE DAY WILL I RECEIVE THE LOW-STOCK EMAIL REPORT?

Daily morning emails are sent between 4:00AM & 5:00AM Eastern time

Daily evening emails are sent between 5:00PM & 6:00PM Eastern time

Weekly emails are sent on Mondays between 4:00AM & 5:00AM Eastern time

Hourly emails are sent 24x7 every hour

+ HOW DO HOURLY ALERTS WORK? WILL I GET THE SAME EMAIL OVER AND OVER EVERY HOUR?

Hourly alerts only send out products that "newly" went out of stock since the previous hour. So you will not receive duplicate emails. Perfect for the Holiday Season Sales Rush.

+ HOW'S YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT?

+ IS THIS APP SEO FRIENDLY?

Who is Wipeout app suited for:

Your store's main source of traffic is not via SEO but through other marketing methods like Ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram etc

you sell one-of-a-kind products . Ex: limited edition tshirts, art work etc

Drop-shippers with constantly changing product catalog

Grocery stores with own customer-base

Captive audience like gift shops attached to a well-known museum etc

Development stores not yet live

Who is Wipeout app not suited for:

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is your major source of traffic

You need to provide your customers back-in-stock notifications using another app

+ WHY ARE SOLD-OUT PRODUCTS SHOWING 404 ERROR?

Wipeout app uses Shopify's hiding feature which has the advantage of hiding sold-out products from collections as well as search results. The downside is that Shopify also hides the product details page which is why you are seeing the 404 error.

Due to this limitation, our app does not support SEO-friendly hiding. This is mentioned clearly in our FAQ and App Store listing If you are concerned about SEO due to 404 errors, then our app is not a good fit for your needs.

Next steps for you:

Uninstall our app from the Installed Apps page.

Then Publish back all the hidden out-of-stock products using the Shopify Products Admin. It is the easiest and fastest way to publish back all hidden products in your store.

Instead of using an app you can use Shopify's Automated Collections feature to show only in-stock products in your collections. This is SEO-friendly.

+ CAN WIPEOUT APP HIDE INDIVIDUAL VARIANTS?

Sorry, Wipeout app only hides products whose variants are all out-of-stock. You can hide sold-out variants from a product page OR disable sold-out variants from being selected by editing your theme's HTML/CSS.You do not need any app for that.See this link below for instructions:https://shopify.dev/tutorials/customize-theme-hide-variants-that-are-sold-outBut when all variants are sold-out and you want to hide such sold-out products you can use our Wipeout app for that.

+ Can App exclude certain products from hiding and publishing back?

If you don't want the app to hide or publish certain products, simply Tag such products and add the tag name to the Excluded Tags List at the bottom of the App Advanced Settings page.

Products whose tags are in the Excluded Tags List are ignored by the app and will not be considered for hiding/publishing.

+ ARE MULTIPLE LOCATIONS SUPPORTED?

Sorry! our app does not support multiple locations at this time. Please email us if you want to be notified when multi-location support becomes available.

+ IS YOUR APP REALLY FREE OR IS IT A FREE TRIAL?

Our app is really free to hide sold-out products :) Automatic Hiding & Publishing is available only in the paid plan. FREE use of app is allowed only to stores with less than 3000 products to ensure high service quality for everyone. Please upgrade to paid plan if your store exceeds the 3000-product limit

+ Is there a product limit to use this app?

The app is FREE if store has less than 3000 products. Paid plan supports Upto 100,000 products only.

+ WHAT ABOUT THE PRODUCTS WHICH WERE SOLD OUT BEFORE UPGRADING TO PAID PLAN?

WIPEOUT APP WILL PUBLISH THESE BACK IN STOCK PRODUCTS WHICH WERE OUT OF STOCK BEFORE UPGRADE? Answer : The app will only publish back in stock products starting from the time you upgraded to the paid plan. If you want to publish any products that came back in stock "before" you upgraded to the paid plan, you'll have to do it manually using the Shopify Products Dashboard

+ I INSTALLED THE APP BUT MY OUT-OF-STOCK PRODUCTS ARE STILL VISIBLE

If you've selected the automatic hide or automatic publish options then the hide/publish actions will happen once a day at the scheduled time of 5:30AM Eastern time. You will receive emails with the list of hidden/published products. If you have installed the free version of the app then please scroll down the page to the "Kick off manual cleanup" section and press the button to press the “Hide Sold-Out Products” button. You will receive emails with the list of hidden products.

+ CAN THE WIPEOUT APP HIDE PRODUCTS ACROSS ALL THE CHANNELS?

The Wipeout app only hides products in the online store. Shopify does not provide a way for apps to hide or show products only on specified sales channels. Shopify says they'll have the feature available soon for app developers.

+ App will hide products which are set as 'Continue Selling when out of stock'

If you have set some products in Shopify settings to 'continue selling even when out-of-stock', then such products will not be hidden by the app.

+ DOES AUTO-HIDE OF OUT-OF-STOCK PRODUCTS ONLINE ALSO HIDE THE PRODUCTS FROM POS?

The Wipeout app only hides products in the online store. It skips POS products by default. We've tested this on our developer store. We suggest you export your store before trying Wipeout just in case you are not happy with the results.

+ HIDDEN PRODUCTS ON OUR ONLINE STORE BEFORE WE INSTALLED THE APP ARE NOW SHOWING ON OUR ONLINE STORE BECAUSE THEY HAVE QUANTITIES. HOW CAN WE HIDE THEM ON OUR ONLINE STORE EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE THEM ON HAND?

You can add the products you don't want the app to touch to the Exclusions list. You can find the exclusions list if you scroll down the app's advanced settings page.

Shopify does not provide a way for apps to hide or show only web products when you also have the same product on POS. Shopify says they'll have the feature available soon for app developers.

+ WILL THE APP SKIP PRODUCTS WITH PUBLISH DATE IN THE FUTURE?

Shopify does not share the future list date of products with app developers. So you will have to manually add such products to the exclusion list in the app to prevent them from being published by the app's publish option. We are working on a way to make this less cumbersome.

+ CAN THE WIPEOUT APP DELETE SOLD-OUT PRODUCTS?

We no longer provide the delete option. We removed it after we found some merchants accidentally deleting products they did not intend to. The Shopify export we recommend performing before delete does not export photos. Since a delete is irreversible we have removed the option because of the risk involved.
